The Vector Optics Frenzy landed on my desk recently, and I’ve only played with it indoors. We’re currently going through a Arctic Outflow and temperatures are -25C with heavy winds and snow. So there’s some added delay on top of my firing range still not open due to the BC floods in November. I’m hoping to escape outdoors shortly and trial the new Sub2k from Keltec and the Vector Optics Frenzy.
I have it up on the MOJ riser mount for the Sub 2000. As you can see in the image to the right, the MOJ riser from Vector Optics allows me to achieve 1/3 lower co-witness with the high Keltec sights. This is extremely comfortable with the rifle shouldered, I don’t have to hunch down as low against the rifle to see dot/sights.
Initial thoughts on this unit are that it’s extremely well build and the materials and machining are much higher grade than some of the import brand names. This is also one of their more expensive options, but they put the extra cost into materials and workmanship.
